Survive runs public courses in Victoria only. Private courses can be arranged in Victoria and other locations within Australia. A minimum of 10 people are required for a Private course and additional travel costs may be required depending on the location. Private course costs are charged per person with a minimum cost for 10 people

Our courses are a blended delivery format with online self directed theory learning modules provided to you prior to the course which you also have access to after the course and then practical training and scenarios during our face to face training and assessment. Access to the learning modules will be provided once payment for the course has been made. The learning modules focus on the theory allowing the course to be as practical as possible.

The 3 day Face to Face Remote Area First Aid Course with pre course learning modules is equivalent to a 60 Hour Course and the 4 Day Face to Face Wilderness First Aid Area Course with pre course learning modules is equivalent to a 80 Hour Course based on the nominal hours of delivery.

The difference between the 3 day Remote Area and 4 day Wilderness courses is a focus on the coordination of emergency response with an emphasis on a search and rescue scenario and single response wilderness first aid scenarios on the final day.

Survive First Aid is a Registered Training Organisation (RTO 40764) specialising in Remote and Wilderness Training Solutions throughout Australia. Using the Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC) guidelines as our base, a team of paramedics (who form our medical advisory team), ensure the training is both relevant and current within the area of First Aid and Emergency Response. Successful completion of our courses awards participants statements of attainment detailing the relevant National Units of competency that have been achieved.
